Cholesterol is a fat-like substance that is waxy in nature. Cholesterol is found in all cells and tissues of the human body. Cholesterol is an organic molecule combination made by the liver in the human body. Cholesterol is also found in some food also like products related to dairy like milk, cheese, ghee, butter, panner, etc., and meat, fish, etc. Cholesterol is required by the human body in a little amount to work and function properly. But it is very important to note that a high level of cholesterol in the body can cause a risk of various heart diseases, and cardiovascular diseases.
